I wonder if the foreign workers made my desserts, but my desserts really tasted below my expectations.
Price: affordable
Food: the rice balls are way too hard and the coconut syrup tastes weird, it wasn’t using fresh coconut milk to make it.
Service: the foreign workers are focus on her phone when we walked in. She continued on video call with her friend when we asked for help.
Atmosphere: the toilet was upstairs and it was totally dark and horrible.
I don’t understand why this dessert house got a 4.1 rating. Formmm

A place for glutinous rice balls (Tang yuan) lovers as almost all the dishes have a few of these added (even one of the chicken dish!). Tried many of their flavors as they have a buffet offering right now. I personally think that salted lotus Tang Yuan n ginger syrup tasted the best. Don't go for the drinks as they are all cordials. Enough syrups in all the soup already 😅. Surprisingly busy at night and a bit cramped in this tiny place. The good thing is that you get to taste TY without having to wait until the mid autumn festival.

反正不会再来了，令人失望！领了我们上二楼空调是坏的….很闷热还有一阵异味，在我们坐的位置前面是一个阁楼应该是他们外籍员工睡的地方🙂‍↕️你空调如果是临时坏了我们也不是不能理解，味道这个东西不能处理好吗？等餐的时间很久，你只有两个外籍员工工作，我也不是不能等，但是一定要保证你的餐点品质吧？冰淇淋都化成汤了，肯定是已经拿出来有一段时间了，但是没有人有空serve我们？那就应该等有人手的时候才开始准备吧？还是可能这是你们的设定吗？有汤的冰淇淋汤圆对吗？
另外，以下是个人口味发言：
那个酒酿的枸杞雪耳汤圆也忒不新鲜了吧？我吃过的所有酒酿都不是这种带臭酸的味道的。闻起来就不能入口….可能这也是贵店的特色只是不符合我的口味而已

If you want to find a place that isn't overcrowded with too many people to have some dessert, you can try out this place. I won't say that it serves the best desserts in town, but they are not bad either. I recommend the rose milk chocolate tang yuan, which is my favorite. Their black sesame soup doesn't taste too greasy, which is nice. The price is reasonable, and for your information, the seats are limited as the shop lot is quite small.

The food itself is a patchwork of experiences. Some rave about the chewy, soft tang yuan, with highlights such as black glutinous rice and coconut ice cream adding a refreshing twist. But not all experiments succeed, as the chocolate tang yuan and certain sour-tasting soups are quick to divide opinions. Prices are mercifully affordable, with most items costing less than RM10.

The ambiance is somewhere between a grandmother’s kitchen and a student hangout. Cosy and quiet, it invites you to linger. For some, this atmosphere evokes fond memories. For others, it’s simply hot and stifling. The juxtaposition of a quaint dining area with inconsistent service adds to the frustration: diners left waiting for over an hour, staff oblivious to new arrivals, and an overall lack of urgency that’s maddening, especially when the place isn’t even crowded.

At its worst, it’s a poorly managed operation that tests the limits of patience and palate alike. At its best, it’s a charming little escape into the past, offering desserts that are both flavourful and evocative
