Pulau Ketam D'island Beds & Cafe: For Bass-Lovers and Sleep-Haters

If you're looking for a peaceful island retreat with sea breezes and tranquil nights… keep scrolling.

I stayed at Pulau Ketam D'island Beds & Cafe, and while the location is great and the seafood nearby is top-notch, the real highlight was the _unofficial rave_ hosted by the downstairs guests. The party started at 9 PM featuring full-volume headbanger music, and continued nonstop until after I returned from breakfast the next morning. Yes, it was a 12+ hour EDM marathon. Sleep? Not in this timeline.

At 3 AM, I went downstairs to ask them to lower the volume. Multiple times. They responded with the kind of energy you'd expect from people who believe silence is a crime. I even called the host in desperation. The result? The music got louder. Apparently, my plea was taken as a challenge.

So if you're craving a once-in-a-lifetime insomnia experience, this is the place. Bring earplugs, noise-canceling headphones, or just surrender to the beat and join the party. Who needs sleep when you’ve got relentless bass?

帶了朋友共三人，來兩日的休閒漫遊。訂了7月30和31號的住宿，到了check in 時，才知老闆David 出了點住宿安排上的小失誤。但大家也在很好，很平和的協商下，他又安排了他家附近的另一個住宿點。老實說，結果是個很棒的決定與安排。地點相對的會更安靜，出入也很方便，住宿的整體條件上也十分滿意。朋友說下次還會再回來，感謝David的細心安排與處理。特推薦他家的🙏

This may be one of the best inn in Pulau Ketam. The owners are very friendly and explain very well about the check-in (you will need to get the key from their shop nearby 金振源). Overall, the room is clean; the beds and pillows are comfy; stable internet connection. They do provide the water dispenser in the facility. Totally recommended.The few downsides are: 1) the sound proof during raining days are terrible (the noise is so loud - suggest for the owner to add ); 2) there is no elevator of course (so may be challenging for those with joint issue)

Is clean & comes with private bathroom. Need to collect key from host at the shop (just 1minute away). And host r so friendly, can help to arrange boat tour. We didnt join because just take our sweet time to explore around.

Definitely recommend this accommodation 🥰

We had a family suites facing the river. Exceptional view and relaxing for folks from city. Very cozy, clean and convenient with easy access to the two main streets for food. Both adults and kids love the place. David the host is very friendly, swift and provide very detailed and helpful information. It is my first visit and other family members whom visited years ago are very impressed too. We will certainly be back again.

David the host is super wonderful person, very welcoming, friendly and understandable. The airbnb is very clean, and comfortable, it is beyond my expectations with such a reasonable price. The whole place makes me feel like I am home! They even provide electric bike / tricycle with a good price. Will definitely recommend to rent the bike from them if you are planning to stay there! Also dont forget to stop by their mini grocery shop, they have everything u need!😋❤️❤️
