Delicious and simple wan ton mee, the noodle is well cooked and not clumpy. The dim sum are also tasty and very affordable for good quality dim sum!

Used to be good during the father’s time. But now under new generation, the portion and recipe got siphoned off. Sometimes can find only miserable 3 little pieces of meat in the charsiew pau unlike the earlier generation which more generous. Other dishes, nothing much to shout about. The place is a bit dilapidated and the cutlery is rustic and tad dirty. There are many other tim sum options in town worth checking out.
Also observe the bill calculation. Locals warn me of price fluctuations and deviations in final tally.
Personally I have avoided this place.

One classic dimsum place in Taiping Old Town.

Choices are limited, but food is fresh and tasty. Choices wise I usually go for their hargow, siewmai, lo mai kai and their must have is definitely their char siew pau. Their deep fried items are not too bad too but they are not my personal favorite as I prefer the steamed items

The chee cheong fun was not to my liking though - tasted slight bland, maybe its the Taiping style of CCF.

Their char siew pau is very light and fluffy (I guess I can easily eat half a dozen of them).

Price wise is affordable.

每次来太平，都会到此吃点心饮早茶。这里也有其他食物可以选择，如：清汤肉碎伊面或粉面、猪腸粉、云吞面和咖喱面。最重要的是，老板和老板娘很亲切😊😊

Dim sum is so so only..edible but there are other places that offer better dim sum. However, their noodles taste alright though.

Cant compare the taste from taiping with KL,taiping dim sum taste more sweet,KL dim sum taste is salty,if you love to take sweet stuff,you might like their culture here😀😀
