Good service from friendly sellers and thankfully not too pushy. We went for the fried chicken, shallot pancakes, spicy dry noodles and stir fried garlic shoots. Everything was as great, in particular the chicken was crisp on the outside and moist and soft on the inside. Watermelon and apple juice drinks were sweet and fresh. Recommend.

Great selection of all kinds of food and drinks.
We went earlier on to avoid the entertainment and big crowds as thats more our scene. We went at around 6pm, all of the food stools were already open.

To order just go up to your desired food stall and order to your table number. Pay once food comes. Cash or QR. Good quick system.

Plenty of choices for food and it was affordable, around 20 stalls. Service was a decent wait with the tables half full on a rainy night. Had korean fried chicken RM13 (added RM2 for more chicken), it was tasty and the rice was fluffy. Teh tarik was ok. At night, patrons can also take their turn to sing before the actual singers arrive. It wasn't too loud and had classic songs. Be wary if parking at the few private parking areas around the food court as it cost RM6 for me.

Está guay para ir un día, los precios no son elevados para ser turístico y tiene bastantes opciones.

Comimos pollo coreano con arroz y unos noodles con ternera. No fueron top, pero estaban buenos.

El sitio está limpio y el ambiente es agradable.
Pagamos por los dos platos y un agua grande 25 MYR.

I was invited by my local friends to check out The Jetty Food Court in George Town, Penang, located just opposite the famous Chew Jetty Heritage site along the waterfront. It’s a spacious hawker center with a lively vibe, perfect for chilling at night—think cold beers, live shows with singers and dancers on stage, and a buzzing crowd under the open air. We went in the evening, and it seemed like a great spot to unwind after exploring the Clan Jetties.

Unfortunately, their sound system was awful—super loud and distorted, which totally killed my mood to enjoy the night entertainment. I couldn’t even chat properly over the noise. The food was hit-or-miss depending on the stall: some dishes like fresh seafood and char kway teow were tasty and flavorful, while others, like the fried items, felt so-so and overcooked. Prices for food and beer are relatively higher than typical hawker spots, probably to cover the shows.

If you’re not old enough or into the nighttime scene, visit during the day just for the meals—it’s cleaner and quieter then, with a good variety of local and Asian cuisines. Overall, it’s got potential for a fun evening, but the audio issues drag it down. I’d rate it 3/5 stars for the location and variety, but skip if you’re sensitive to noise.

How to use...

Choose a table and remember your table number.

Drinks: A few bar staff circulate to take drinks orders, they may be from competing bars. I found a central bar, took a picture of the fridge drinks as we chose to order things we could not describe (bottles with only foreign writing), as we used them as a replacement for wine. Place your order at your table. Your drink are brought over, and you pay, cash.

Food: choose your shop, order your food. Give table number, return to table. Food arrives, you pay, cash.

Entertainment: live singing, centre stage, in the round. If you want to be up close, just choose a table near the stage, it will be a bit louder here. It felt like about 9pm that music started.

Overall, a great experience. I recommend highly. Food, for us, turned out to be average, but cost pennies, so fine. Drinks (see pictures), we got plastered on stuff we can't even describe!
