👍 Highly recommended! This restaurant is located in our hotel area, but it’s hard to find since it’s upstairs. It’s incredibly popular, with many foreign diners. Every dish we ordered suited our tastes perfectly and had a great wok hei (wok aroma). Even as someone who doesn’t usually like fried food, I found the spring rolls and Nyonya-style fish fillet absolutely delicious!

We had an amazing time here! Yes, service was a bit slow but they were slammed too and they tried their best. A+ for effort! Restaurant itself is not aesthetically design but I’m ok with that as long as food is great, which it was! Portions were pretty big and we had no complaints at all. Totally recommended, especially when there’s not much available options around the area.

The Outlook of the food is equally as good as the taste. It has the good taste and the presentation in food. The portion is quite generous considering the location and price. Run by a humble elderly husband and wife, it provides a good dining experience.

Not to forget, the very good service that they are providing. The only downside that i can pick off is their location which can be quite inconvenient and maybe hard to find. Will definitely come again without a doubt. P/s: if possible, call and book for a table before coming if you are coming in a big group as space can be quite limited. Btw they are pork free restaurant.

This place came highly recommended by a friend who recently visited Penang. It’s located on the second floor of a small mall-like complex. We took the lift from the ground floor lobby to get there.

Initially, we were a bit skeptical—the restaurant looked a bit old—but the large crowd of customers gave us hope. Despite being very busy, a staff member, could be the owner, Andrew greeted us warmly while attending to others waiting to pay. He showed us to a table and, after finishing his tasks, promptly came over to serve us.

He took the time to recommend dishes and explained the spiciness levels indicated on the menu, which was very helpful. Even though the restaurant was packed, our food arrived surprisingly quickly.

The food itself was excellent—delicious and well-prepared. The overall experience was very pleasant, and we’ve marked this as a "must-visit" spot for our next trip to Penang. Highly recommended!

What a great little neighbourhood restaurant. Up the Stairs and the food was really delicious. Service was so friendly and overall highly recommend eating here. Great veg, sizzling prawns yum

This place is a hidden gem. Worth seeking out this place. Food is quality, service was amazing. Would highly recommend this place to all. We will be back before we leave. Also have to give a special shout out for the Duck Pancakes 😁

First of all the place is like a hidden gem you need to get into the opposite of shangrila golden sands to get here like in the middle of a small complex centre. It is however easy to locate as it has signage to direct you. Their restaurant would be on the level 2 of the building near the karaoke centre that would be a perfect place to chill after food. Second of all the food is scrumptious, we ordered lemon chicken and curry chicken as well as an omelette. The food is delicious as we finished it all.😋 However there’s a limited choices of their drinks on the menu but overall it’s perfect and a good place to chill to. Last and not least the service is good and all of the staff’s are friendly. Hats off to Andrew’s Kampung💋
