Lovely array of petite gateau cakes, tried the dark chocolate one and it definitely didn't disappoint. Their coffees look really good although we didn't get to try. Cute, cosy cafe but only had limited seating and price is on the higher end.

Champignons Patisserie is an unlikely small space in Kota Damansara where one can find selling French patisserie. The shop itself is big but majority space is used to bake the beautiful and intricate desserts. They only have a few tables and chairs to accommodate walk-in customers.

With modern contemporary interior, take a pick of the beautiful desserts in the display cabinet and order the drinks to enjoy with it.

◾their take on Opera Cake, originated from France, was commendable. Not sure what constitutes as a good Opera Cake but it sure delighted my taste buds.
◾Mushroom Soup when she just wanted something hot to warm the tummy.
◾Soft Center Cheesecake was soft & creamy + velvety smooth at the same time. A luscious surprise for cheesecake lovers but don't eat too much as it got jelak once you eat more.
◾Coffee - Flat white and iced black had never disappointed me once.
◾Barista Brew - Yuzu Sour comprises of yuzu, passion fruit and coffee.. a refreshing coffee-based 'mocktail'.
◾Barista Special in Oolong Mango Lemon with Passion fruit Jelly would suit the young ones who don't take caffeine.

Sweet tooth satisfied and caffeine craving fixed...

My affairs with Champignons started with their first outlet in Oasis Ara Damansara, where Chef Gary Chang whipped out delicious and creative French cuisine to the public. I'd even gone to taste their MIGF menu few years ago with special invitation by Mr. Key, then the President of PCM.

One day, I saw the signboard "Champignons Patisserie" being erected in the busiest area of Kota Damansara. When they finally opened for business, I went in and sure enough the French dessert place is opened by the same people. Parking in this area is a pain in the arse.

The outlet adopts a modern contemporary design - quite small with just a few tables to dine-in. Photo opportunities as the quite hard to come by when it's packed but somehow I managed to snap few. All the creations are displayed in glass cabinet for easier choosing.

◾The "Reindeer" and "Ruby" that we had were delicious
◾Macaroons were colourful and tasty without being too sweet.
◾Orange espresso and passion fruit matcha are some of the Barista Special that you can order and I love both.
◾Or maybe just opt for classic coffee/tea to go with your choice of dessert.

It felt nice to be able to satisfy the sweet tooth, away from the hot and stuffy weather outside and watching people walking by at the same time.

Had a chill morning at Champignons Patisserie today, and guys, it’s a nice spot for breakfast. I tried their Big Breakfast—sausages, some crispy bacon, a sunny-side-up that’s just right, baked beans, and toast. It’s like a hug on a plate, seriously.

Now, let’s talk cakes. If you’re into those fancy little French cakes, petit gâteaux, you’ve gotta try their Monstera from the Euphoria Collection. It’s this cute green tea cake with an adorable leaf on top. It’s not just pretty, it tastes amazing too.

The vibe of the place is pretty cool, not too shabby for a morning hangout. Service could be a bit snappier, but hey, nothing’s perfect, right? Oh, and heads up, seating can be a bit of a squeeze, so maybe don’t bring your entire gang.

All in all, Champignons is the kind of place you’ll wanna keep coming back to, especially when you need that cake fix. Just maybe try to dodge the crowd.

I ordered the chocolate and tiramisu soft cheesecake. It was the worst thing I’ve ever eaten in my life

Went to try out their mini cakes before deciding for dad's birthday dessert. The bunny cake was good, not too sweet. The matcha cake was the best of them all. Highly recommended.

We wandered into this cute little place the other day. It's small, but in a cozy way. The decorations are chill – nothing over the top, just simple and relaxing.

The real temptation was the cakes. They looked like they came straight from a dessert dreamland. We were so close to trying them, but we chickened out this time.

The drinks tasted too artificial. We were hoping for some good ol' natural.
