seafood here is extremely fresh.

octopus was the best thing on the table, and felt as if it had just been swimming. and perfectly cooked, which is to say hardly at all. prawn in the fritters had the same feel, and was light to point of airy.

ditto fish in porridge, with comes in portions (even the small) that required cooperation. only quibble is the porridge itself, which could have used additional refinement. cantonese chuk rather than hokkien moi, basically.

moo ping is hamburger on stick. patty is tasty, tender and blows past juicy to ugly delicious sweaty. turf element is definitely a minority in this surf shop, but represents strongly and pleasingly.

Octopus is fresh. Fried tofu is served hot and crispy. Prawn is fresh and big too. Porridge is full of seafood flavour, tastes sweet and refreshing, feeling like eating something like home. Price is quite affordable. Food is served quite fast.

Located in the older part of Nibong Tebal this is a 'hidden gem' for locally sourced seafood, especially the mud crabs used for their signature crab porridge. You will be hard-pressed to find the size of crabs available in local wet markets, which means that the lady boss pays a good price to the local fishermen. Needless to say, the crab porridge is excellent. Full of flavour and the crab flesh is sweet and juicy. Can also ask for crab with eggs if in season. Expect to pay RM80-90 per crab, so porridge for 4 is around RM160-180 if sharing. Good appetisers include the octopus tentacles, fried fishcakes and prawns and steamed garouper fillets. Probably best to go early evening (can get busy after 7pm) with at least 5-6 people to share meal as helpings are generous, but don't expect much change from RM500! Still a bargain compared to S'pore or even Bangkok.

First time here. Found that this restaurant is very unique. They don't serve rice. Seafood is really fresh

What I like:
1) unique menu. Ordered fish and pork porridge, and frog porridge. Both are delicious and the taste is just great. No fishy smell or taste. The porridge is flavourful
2) we ordered the fish ball too. They are smooth and elastic. Thumbs up
3) good service. Waiters are patients to recommend

Overall, the taste is pretty good. The shrimp is fresh and delicious, and the jellyfish is also tasty. It would be even more perfect if they could provide more cilantro for pairing. The drinks are average, and the desserts are nice.

Update: 今天好多苍蝇干扰，肉饼、虾、鱼粥、角螺肉也都腥味很重。。。非常失望

This place is famous for their crab porridge so I'll get the two important information out of the way. First it's delicious. The crab is fresh, big, sweet and succulent. The porridge itself is flavorful, hot and tasteful. The portions are generous and the price extremely fair. I would find it hard to locate a cheaper place with this large size crab.

The fried prawn is also a must try. Well salted with a good balance of taste. If you have enough diners, you can add on the steamed octopus. Perfectly cooked and juicy. The sauce is a bit spicy though so be careful.

However you can skip the fish ball and the squid. A bit underwhelming. Not bad but should've been better.

They are closed 3-5pm and if you arrive early, parking space of plentiful.
