Chew Chee Kedai Mee Dan Nasi is conveniently located along Tangkak’s main road. The shop is housed in an old but well-maintained building, complete with a beautiful mural inside, adding a nice touch to the ambiance.

The menu features roasted chicken, Hainanese chicken, and char siew, which can be paired with wantan noodles or rice. We tried the char siew wantan noodle and Hainanese chicken with mee pok. While the char siew was average, the Hainanese chicken and noodles were great.

We also ordered wantan soup. The wantan skins were a bit thick, and the filling was on the lighter side, but the soup itself had a lovely flavor.

For those interested, the shop also sells frozen wantan noodles. However, note that the noodles need to be refrigerated, so they’re not ideal for those traveling around.

Overall, a good spot for a hearty meal with standout Hainanese chicken and noodles. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Tangkak!

Went in for breakfast. Had wanton mee soup and coffee. Nowadays, most mee soup comes without green leafy vegetables but at this place. The mee soup is served with sawi, their own homemade char siew, wanton and a few slices of fish cakes. At the shop, one can place orders for wedding biscuits, baby full moon month, and other Chew Chee foodstuff.

An amazing experience of hand-made Wantan noodle!

1) Tasty hand-made Wantan noodle with great texture Noodles are freshly made and could taste a great substance of evenly flatten flour

2) fast services, though not everyone loves the QR code ordering system

3) the soup seems to be infused with herbs, very soothing to eat together with the noodles

4) nice ambient, friendly services

5) the noodles are also available to buy and cook at home
