This place reminded us of our favourite beach in Bali where you can dine and watch the beautiful sunset on the beach. Frandy Beach Bar & Restaurant is beautifully decorated and you can enjoy the amazing view of the beach and sunset while listening to the sound of waves. You can relax on the comfy cushions provided or dine at the tables inside the restaurant or out on the sandy beach. We ordered a few dishes to try… Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken, Grilled Lamb Chop, Mushroom Chicken, Grilled Squid with Sauces, Fried Onion Rings. We also ordered a few bottles of Beer, Virgin Mojito, Mango Juice and Mineral Water. The food tasted ok but we had to wait so long for the dishes to be served. The staff were inexperienced but they were friendly and managed to get everything right for us. Customer service needs to be improved for better experience. We also enjoy the live music and unique Fire Show. Make sure you arrive early to catch the sunset and the Fire Show at the designated time.

Nice view and food is ok but the live band is very boring. The price is kind of expensive but the music they play is not appropriate with the atmosphere. The band performance is rather late. I recommend you should go from 5pm to 7pm and then leave. It's hard to get a grab taxi from there

Frandy Bar and Restaurant offers a picturesque dining experience, especially with its prime location next to Bay View Hotel and its stunning beachfront views. The arrangement of tables right on the sand provides an excellent vantage point for watching the sunset while enjoying your meal. However, due to its popularity, it's advisable to arrive early to secure a prime spot. Otherwise, you might find yourself seated in less desirable areas.

My visits to Frandy have been a mixed experience. On my first visit in February 2024 with my boyfriend, we were seated at a table that was more suited for drinks than a proper meal. Despite the view, the seating arrangement was not ideal for dining.

More recently, I encountered issues with the service. The Myanmar supervisor lady wearing glasses seemed to treat us unfairly, insisting on upfront payment before we had finished our meal or even before our friend arrived. This was in stark contrast to how other tables were treated, which left me feeling singled out and unfairly judged.

While the food quality is decent, with a notable selection of local dishes, my Tom Yum Seafood is overly sour. My friend really like the BBQ Fish. Portions are generally meant for groups, so if you're dining as a couple, you might want to consider Western options to avoid excessive leftovers. The waiter very fast wanted to clean our table eventhough the bowls are still have plenty of food. In my disappointment mood I just let him to clear it.

In summary, while Frandy Bar and Restaurant excels in providing a beautiful sunset view, the service and seating arrangements could use improvement. Please remind the staff to not simply judged the customer based on their look. Don't practice double standards in your service. The food is good but be prepared for possible inconsistencies in service.

Food portion is just nice and advisable to order couple of dishes for sharing so that we can have a variety. Some food that we ordered took a while and we have to constantly check on the status

Seated right on the beach with magnificent view of the sunset to dawn. Enjoying the atmosphere with guest taking on horse riding activity , children playing sands right next to the table. Since this place is crowded and attract many visitor, please evpect that the staff service might not be as fast as you think but they do run around to cater the entire area.

Leuke plek dat bekend staat om de zonsondergang te bekijken. Wij waren rond 18:00 uur daar en hadden een mooi plekje om te eten. De pizza magarita was wel prima maar niet bijzonder. De uienringen waren erg lekker en ook de loempia’s. Verder ook nog gerechten gegeten en ook meer dan prima. Let op er zit vaak wel garnalen in de gerechten.

In de avond zijn we gaan zitten bij de zitzakken om te kijken naar een fireshow (20:30). Er werd aangeven dat dit elke avond was. Buitenom de fireshow kon je ook paardrijden.

Good place to watch the sunset. Pricey but I guess you pay for the venue. Quite popular. I ordered the calamari fritto. It wasn’t bad. I mean not amazing but not terrible. Cold fresh coconut drink was good though.
