From the delicious food to the attentive service to the beautiful ambiance, everything here is just perfect!

Sweet potato chips with sambal and iced butterfly pea tea were served as an appetizer.

The main course, Laksa Johor with tiger prawns, was our culinary highlight so far.

For dessert, we had tiramisu ice cream with meringue.

We added dinner to our overnight stay – we highly recommend a visit.

Attentive service and good food, you were welcomed by the host as a close family rather than a customer. We had the wedding rice with the Enoki mushroom 'penyet', nice homemade dragon fruit sorbet & fried banana pastry too 🍌.

What a pleasant surprise, we could not have picked a better restaurant for dinner in Lahad Datu.

The owners Simon and Itisha were wonderful hosts as they welcomed us and explained the dishes on tonight's menu.

She obviously has a passion for food which is evident in every dish, authentic Malay curry main and dragon fruit ice cream with banana fritter.

HAWA ARTISAN KITCHEN what can i say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

From the moment i walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a wonderful evening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, and it was evident that the ingredients were of the highest quality. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or desserts, each plate was a work of art.

I must highlight the impeccable presentation of each dish. It was not just a meal; it was a feast for the eyes. The attention to detail in plating was truly impressive. I love it.

I also appreciated the diverse menu that catered to various dietary preferences. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there's something here for everyone. - vegetarian may request earlier

Lastly, I can't forget to mention the delightful desserts. They were the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Don't leave without trying their homemade ice cream - my latest addiction is their mango + calamansi mousse

It's a place where food becomes an art, and dining is an experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an exceptional culinary journey. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

一个隐藏在住宅区就连本地人也不知道的秘密餐馆，没有显眼的招牌一家看起来毫不起眼的住家却有让人惊讶的巴厘岛风味装潢。
厨师是一个看很慈祥很nice的外国人,这里没有菜单全程由厨师为你安排，每一份菜肴都让你有个神秘感，每一道美食厨师太太都会亲自介绍菜肴的由来典故为你的晚餐增添一份一份的气氛让你真的处身在国外的某一个度假胜地旅游。
这是一个适合一家大小情侣来的地方，但是你不能随时到来，这里需要提前预，听说不是每一天有营业，座位也不多大约只能容纳20-25个人
。

Hawa and Simon are splendid hosts and give a 5 star Micheline gourmet experience. We have been to many fancy restaurants that charge a fortune and often disappoint. Not so with Hawa! She is attentive, thoughtful, creative and reasonably priced. We were skeptical at first, as we are vegan and most people don’t truly understand how to do a gourmet vegan meal, but Hawa did! We highly recommend their guesthouse too which is a perfect gateway to Tabin and the snorkeling and dive spots nearby which they can arrange for you with sufficient advance notice. All around excellent.
