Nestled in the heart of Bentong, Kedai Kopi dan Makanan Weng Fatt may seem unassuming at first glance, but this quaint eatery is a treasure trove of flavors. Despite its modest size, with just one food stall and one drink stall, the variety of food on offer is surprisingly extensive.

I had the pleasure of trying their tong tau foo, beef brisket, and curry noodle. The beef brisket was a standout, boasting a tenderness and juiciness that melted in my mouth. It’s a dish I would come back for, time and time again. The curry noodle, particularly the broth, was a flavor explosion – rich, aromatic, and utterly satisfying.

The shop’s small footprint means seating is limited, which only adds to its charm as a hidden gem. It’s a popular spot among locals, evident from the steady stream of regulars ‘tapau-ing’ their food and drinks on bikes, reminiscent of a drive-thru service.

A word to the wise: the breakfast and lunch menus differ. To savor the dishes I enjoyed, make sure to visit for breakfast. Kedai Kopi dan Makanan Weng Fatt is more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience, a local secret that’s well worth discovering.

Quite possibly the best coffee and the best kaya bread (steam or toast) in Bentong.

Weng Fatt is a little kopitiam sitting at the corner of a residential row, away from the busy market place.

Serving a variety of noodles and yong tau foo; the coffee here is as authentic as it gets 👍

Bread is served with homemade kaya and a pretty decent butter. Dipped into the coffee - first class!!!

Mostly locals here. Friendly service, old-school taste.

Located away from the busy market area. Curry mee with fried toppings are must haves. Kopi peng is creamy and thick. Toast set didn't disappoint.

What! Drive Thru Kopitiam? Yes, you can drive thru to get your coffee or drink here! How special and convenient right? Normally local will use bike or bicycle to the drive thru counter to tapau their coffee. Car a bit difficult to drive thru because you will block that road.
This kopitiam quite famous for their geng chau peng (nescafe + coffee + milo). After drink it will totally awake because this coffee really geng and kaw. Some say this coffee better than ⭐bucks, for me this coffee really geng (powerful) and cheaper than ⭐bucks. Really really cheap, you only can get this price it in Bentong.
This shop also got sell curry wild boar, their wild boar quite tender and less smelly.

The cham here is quite kaw at RM2. On top of that, you can drive thru to get your coffee or drink here! How special and convenient is that? There are many types of drinks available from coffee/tea to drinks like wheatgrass etc. There is only a stall here but they offered a variety of food choices like chee cheong fun, Guang Xi stuffed beancurd (广西酿料), nasi lemak, wild boar curry, economic beehun and mee etc. I tapau-ed nasi lemak + wild boar curry and it's tasty. The wild boar meat is surprisingly tender.

Must try their stuffed bitter gourd, chilli and eggplant, very good!
