Be very careful of what you are getting from your purchases. Just only a few days the meat got fungus like cotton puffing on every pieces of the BakQua. For those who have bought please check before eating. Having bought BakQua from different outlets over the decades this is the first time I encountered such quality product. No more lah New Eastern BAKWA.

Very disappointed, to all customers, pls if you buy BBQ meat from this New Eastern shop from Taman Sri Tebrau, do take note. Bought back the BBQ meat and gave out to friends, within 4 days already moudly inside.

Patronised 7 bags each 1kg of dried meat, 4 out of 7 bags turned moudly within 4 days. Went back to the shop to show them, but the shop did not want to acknowledge and was treated with impatient attitude and did not even want to acknowledge that it was bought there with the plastic & paper bags all intact.

This will be the 2025 SURPRISE that you will be getting . Certainly not service oriented and out to make a Quick Buck and is cheating all customers , when they did not BBQ the meat properly. Ho Liao Happy CNY 2025. This is the new BBQ meat they offer. MOULDY BBQ meat for 2025.

It's great when they have offers eg buy 1kg free 1kg of bakwa. Otherwise the price is more costly when compared to other bakwa sellers. The taste of the sliced meat is better than the minced meat versions. Service is quick as they only offer takeaway.

Bought a so-called RM55 per half kg sliced pork with free 300g sliced pork promotion today. I specifically told the saleslady to zero the multi-layer of wrapping paper which she appeared to be reluctantly obliging by saying she’s already given me 10g extra, which I later found out using my electronic kitchen scale the gross weight was 806g, benefit of doubt given though there are still some grams of shortchange.
I think they shall discard the outdated and inaccurate spring scale and resort to calibrated electronic scale for the benefit of all. Display the scale to the buyers please.
