Plenty of choices here for a quick and easy lunch- chicken rice, wantan mee, siam laksa, kuey teow soup and economy rice. Must try here is the chicken rice- you will see it on almost every table.

We tried the poached chicken, roasted chicken and charsiew with beansprouts on the side. The rice itself was fragrant and flavourful whilst not being too oily.

Between the poached and roasted chicken, the roasted chicken was more tender and flavourful. The charsiew was quite sweet and fragrant too. Beansprout wasn’t too overcooked.

There is a wide variety of local delights here , serving mainly Chinese dishes. I ordered a fish ball soup kway teow , noodle texture is perfect and soup is tasty only 6.5 rm. Coffee is also nice and thick , central location.

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Plenty of seats and the restaurant was not hot or stuffy. I love the Siam Laksa - the soup was very delicious with balanced flavour of sweet, sour and fragrant coconut. Absolutely divine! Highly recommend to try this dish. Another popular choice is the chicken rice. The rice was also very fragrant and it was served with fat taugehs as side dish. Coffee and Hokarsai(milo mixed with coffee) also very good.

“Comforting food in midst of chaos vibe”
Had a bowl of “Kari-mee” (curry soup noodles) accompanied by “Teh-Di-Oh” (milk black tea with drips of black coffee). The curry soup was packed with fresh out-of-the-sea boiled shrimp, rare blood-clam, lots of fat bean-sprout, spoonful of belacan-shrimp paste sambal, and mixed of yellow noodle and “Kwea-teow” flat vermicelli/rice noodle. The curry is more “Kuala-Sepatang”-ish style, a fishing village nearby Taiping, less greasy-creamy but still rich in coconut milk aroma. “Teh-Di-Oh” is an beverage order specific to milk tea adding just a little amount of black coffee (10-15% coffee), instead of “Cham” where the the mixture of tea-coffee is 50/50. (Not sure other cities or towns besides Taiping recognised this signature beverage order)

During weekends or lunch hours, finding an empty seat can be a real challenge. Even when seats are available, it takes forever for them to clean up the leftover mess. I ended up eating while staring at dirty plates from the previous guests. It’s also pretty hot and stuffy, but the food is definitely worth it—be sure to try their curry mee, laksa, and chicken rice.

) just passed and i like the unique Thai green chilli sauce. The sotong kangkong coated with concentrated sweet dark sauce was way too concentrated and too sweet. Char kaw tiew cannot make it.
The claypot chicken rice from Prima coffee shop was way below average. Rice too soft and not sure what kind of taste was that Fried carrot cake frim this Prima coffee shop also taste too salty. Drinks store from Prima coffee shop also very lousy service. Ordered a mineral water they server me big bottle without cup to drink from🙄
