Nice curry mee hawker located in this rather out of the way hawker center near Bukit D.O. Be prepared to queue for about 5 to 10 minutes in the morning to order, pay, and collect your curry mee. Chock full of coagulated pig's blood cube, blood cockles, and with a spoon full of fragrant chili paste. Broth is quite light and flavourful. RM6 for a small bowl, which is just nice.

Nice broth of the curry noodles. Long queue but is fast. Affordable local price. Is a must try when you come to Bukit Mertajam Pulau Pinang.

Long queue for those who want to take away the noodle. Otherwise, dine in, you just sit down and order.
The curry mee is a nice portion with sweet coconut taste white curry. The essence of it is the curry paste served separately in the small soup spoon and add according to your taste. I will add everything together.
Plenty of pork blood jelly and fried tofu slices with it. No cockles.

Would say its pretty good bowl of Curry Mee ... might not be the best but that is according to each others taste buds. A little different from the original Penang White Curry Mee as the soup is not totally white as there is curry paste already mixed into it but it is good even without that spoon of chili provided.

Parking can a bit challenging and since its in a food court it can be a bit hot and packed.

Come early to avoid disappointment

Bib Gourmand pilgrimage #5, curry noodles with 40 years of history in a no-frills neighbourhood hawker centre.

Cockles are back on the menu. Pretty solid curry broth I suppose, but personally more used to having noodles with some meat in it, so it felt quite bare to me.

Worth the distance and waiting time in queue for this bowl of curry mee. Atmosphere is no frill with free seating if you can get. cannot find watching point around.

PSA don't come too early if you are dining in.

Being famous I thought I would come a little early. Slight miscalculation as everything was dark. Eating place was horrendously underlighted. You can't really see what you are eating. Come after 7am when natural light bathes the area then it would be more inviting.

As for the bowl, thumbs up for the amount of tofu, veggie, clams and blood jelly that comes with it. Very generous and much appreciated. However, being a personal taste, but I felt that the curry had too much santan undertone. The soup had a great body and superb overall taste but a bit overwhelming santan taste overshadows what would otherwise be a superb bowl of curry mee. The curry paste comes separately for your personal mix but I suggest you mix the whole spoonful that comes with it. The spice is average and you won't sweat too much from it.
