This was a fantastic and surprisingly hands-on experience. The main highlight is getting to actually climb inside the massive tin dredge. You're equipped with top-notch safety gear (harnesses and high-quality railings), which makes you feel completely secure as you explore the inner workings of this incredible machine.

They've added some great modern elements, clearly part of the new Escape Ipoh development. The new suspension bridge connecting the dredge to a maze is a really fun addition that adds a bit of adventure to the history lesson.

Heads-Up on Pricing:
The ticket is a single price of RM38 for everyone (ages 4-100). While it might seem a bit steep, the unique access, excellent safety, and overall quality of the experience absolutely justify the cost. Free earphone are given as free gift.

Verdict:
A must-visit for a unique blend of Malaysian history and light adventure. Highly recommended!

Tempat ni Escape dah ambik alih, so harga tiket nak masuk ke dalam kapal korek & maze garden dah tak berapa nak marhaen. Boleh la kalau nak jalan-jalan tengok mini muzeum dia untuk pengetahuan am. Kapal korek boleh tengok lagi cuma dari luar jelah, nak masuk dalam kena bayar. Kat perkarangan ada restoran A&W kontena, cuma yang tak berapa bestnya lalat banyak. Sepatutnya tempat bersejarah macam ni kerajaan kena ambik cakna untuk ketengahkan. Orang ramai datang tapi ramai tak jadi nak masuk ke kapal sebab tiket mahal. Sebab tiket mahal jugaklah aku lupa nak ambik gambar kapal korek, so review kali ni takde gambar subject berkaitan 🤣

Finally managed to get into this Dredge after a few visits. We have to scan a QR code to purchase the ticket, since it's a public holiday it's RM38 for anyone above 4years old. Well the experience was great as we were looking forward to visit this tin mining dredge. The area coverage was huge. Lots of places from the base till the top of the roof we get to visit. There is a A&W outside the dredge for some refreshments, the ticket price include the maze in the Escape play zone. Kids enjoy the canopy walk to the maze as well. Overall we spend a minimum 2 hours, not that we are rushing but it's worth the time and money spent. The museum at the entrance is also full with knowledge and history of the dredge.

After our light lunch, we took the opportunity to visit two nearby heritage attractions. One of them was the Tg Tualang Dredge Tin Museum. Since we only explored the show gallery (which has free entry), the information provided was still sufficient. We also learned that Tg Tualang was Malaysia’s first mining site, dating back to 1913.

Datang da lawat tempat bersejarah ini. Bijih timah adalah salah satu hasil bumi Malaysia yang penting.

Tempat cantik. Informative. Ada surau dan tandas. A&W pun ada tau

Cons: harga tiket mahal. Budak 4tahun pun kena bayar harga rm21 sama macam dewasa..

Parking free.. Ambil gambar dari luar dan utk melihat info kapal korek free.. Masuk dalam kapal korek baru lah bayar 👍 harus lawati bila smpai ke Batu Gajah. Makanan pon ada dijual (A&W).. Staff mesra pelanggan terbaik..

It’s a very cool location and only the few “Kapal Korek” remaining in the country! But I’ve heard that the ticket price was within rm10 back then, but now with escape park intergrated it has been up price to rm38 to enter.

I’ve believe it’s the downside of the space now if only they have 2 ticket price one to only visit the dredge would be good.
