i was atracted to visit this store base on the enviroment photo.
the store provide self service.
after a staff took order for our drink, we were told to take the order bill to another counter to select our food.
most of the food are ready cook.
carrot cake - precook, cold and oily
pao - not hot
others dim sum - cold.

google map initially bring us to a wrong place. do take note Teck Kee Dim Sum. not any ither teck kee from google

The dim sum here tasted average, certainly no items that stood out and nothing out of the ordinary. I find their char siu pao to be too sweet with a texture that's too sticky while their lo mao kai or steamed glutinous rice with chicken and pork to be lacking in ingredients.

I guess being 1 of only 2 specialty dim sum place in Teluk Intan made them think they can increase prices without repercussions. The price of dim sum here rivals KL and JB without much flair and taste to back up within a much shabby restaurant.

Taste factor: 4.5/10
Return factor: I find it hard to support a restaurant that charged too much without offering much in return, be it taste, value nor comfort

Great dim sum, this is happen when I google and found out this place…

The dim sum portions is good and the quality of food is delicious 😋 should come early as we arrive at 1030am and most food are sold out.

Except the service is average, maybe the staff are not local and can’t understand much on our request.

Cleanliness can be improved at serving area

You have to Q to pick your favourite food (mainly self service) and they will write on a paper where we use to make payment later.

The price range from RM1.70 - RM9.50

Recommended food deep fried yam w bbq pork & chu cheong fun was my favourite pick - on my liking

The place was ok but the aircon inside was kinda cool, easy to get parking when we are they at the time

All dim sum is good here.

The egg tart is very hot selling and sold out very fast even not on busy day. Is hong kong style egg tart, it taste very good

Not need to wait for long queue in Ipoh, dim sum here are also very nice. Just the ordering process is bad, customers need to order and take own food from counter. No need to queue for seats but queue for food, ended dim sum get cold when eating. 😐

Old school dim sum shop in Teluk Intan. Nice and much choice of traditional dim sum. Worth to try the egg tart, XiaoMai, Fish Ball and fried carrot cake. They implemented self service order to pick up the dim sum from the counter.
