非常古早味的擂茶！单喝汤是咸的，但是将汤和饭混合搅拌后，会变得甘甜！非常好吃！
酿料是有咸鱼的味道配上擂茶真的很好吃！

To satisfy my request, a local friend brought me to this infamous “Thunder Tea Rice” 火山雷茶@Kulai.

Personally, I can’t help but feeling very disappointed. Again, it’s over-rated! Also, it’s supposedly a healthier choice. Sadly, it’s been modified to suit the tourists’ palates. Super salty, and deepfried side dishes such as, fried chicken, fried yong tofu (with meat) are available.

We spent myr48 for 4 bowls of Thunder Tea Rice, a few pieces of YTF and some deep fried chicken. As I didn’t eat meat, my friend commented it’s hard & not nice lol…

Note: There’s a homemade Hakka kueh-kueh opposite (next to the mini market), I bought some chives & preserved veggies kueh-kueh. Again, it’s SO salty!! Perhaps, it’s the Hakka thingy 🤞

Enjoyed the Lei cha here. The lei cha was tasty without the bitter grinded vege taste. Mixed into the rice vege peanut blend, a delicious meal to start the day. Worth the drive to this shop in a middle of the new village.

Lei cha was good and fried pork as well. Given this is a very humble restaurant at Kulai near the chinese new village the atmosphere is not fantastic. The owner love dogs and should be kind hearted one.

I never liked lei-cha ( though im a hakka) as most of the lei-cha has very strong *green* taste.
Decided to try out this shop since i was nearby.
The lei-cha has a balanced-taste which i like..
The yong tou fu, fried pork and nasi lemak was aso 👍
The aunty who owned the place was also friendly.
However, they dont offer brown rice..only white rice.
The price is reasonable too🤗
